-517Medium Formation TCI Tricone Bits:
The 517 features aggressive chisel tungsten carbide inserts on the heel rows and inner rows. This design provides a fast drilling rate and added cutting structure durability in medium-to-medium hard formation. O-ring provides adequate sealing for bearing durability.

>Dome / Round button
Used as gauge buttons of DTH bits, suitable for very abrasive and very hard rock formation.
>Parabolic / Semi-ballistic
Used as gauge buttons and front buttons of DTH Bits, suitable for medium abrasive and hard rock formations.
>Ballistic button
Used front buttons of DTH bits, suitable for medium abrasive and medium hard formations. Also be used as gauge buttons for soft rock.
